I suspect the X series is the same but even bigger and better again.Ĭlick to expand. So what you are saying is that even though the game starts you on a long storyline, has a bunch of quests, and a bunch of things to trade. The difference is that Space Rangers does a FAR better job of the missions, and the combat is much more interesting too. Space Rangers is just like M&B, buy some shit at one city, click to travel to another city, sell shit for profit. I expected a lot more from Warband which I think is already a sequel? I expect any more sequels will be crap. Endless roaming groups of bandits that die seconds after showing up at your army. Go find a bandit village, with zero directions, so you have to criss cross a big blank green area. Some goofy quests, many are terribly made. I figured by now they would have turned that into something good but apparently that never happened. I quit because the part that had you travelling the world map and doing stuff seemed bad and under developed. It just had you going into arenas and killing people. It didn't try to send you on a big quest in a gimpy low budget world. I played the original M&B when it was in some free beta or something about 20 years ago, and it was more fun than Warband.
